This is a painting I did for my good friend Jorge’s birthday. He shares my enthusiasm for Batman so this piece came pretty naturally for me. Done with ink, acrylic on cardboard. approx. 18″x6″ ENJOY!

This is a painting I just finished for my friend Brandon. It is an illustrated interpretation of the symbiotic relationship between the Bobtail Squid and the Bacteria Vibrio Fischeri. Done on, acrylic, ink, paper, graphite. 24″x30″ It was a enlightening project.
This is a new piece I just finished. It attempts to capture the realization and fear that in our lifetimes we will not see a significant change in our consumerism and deviation from capitalism. The face depicted has shown up in my work before (see the 2009-2010 tab, image 23/31 “Deep down we all know there is more”). The interesting thing about that is both works follow a similar theme, but were done years apart. The repetition of the face image was done unintentionally; I didn’t notice the overlap until I completed the piece. “Fear of the Mundane,” was done on an old skate deck using ink, acrylic, and collage elements, with a ribbon for the finishing touch.

This is a little preview of a piece I’m currently working on. Not sure what it’s going to turn into, but for the time being, I’m seeing zombie booty. I think it will develop into something else. I’m certainly having fun though. Found wood, ink, acrylic, denim. 20″x23″
This is the final product from a painting I started a while ago. It’s kind of a misunderstood fly, a lovable/hate-able creature. Done on found wood, acrylic, ink and paper 11″x18″
