This is another piece I did as soon as I got the new studio set up. It started as kind of an exercise to shake the rust off of my brain and hands. As I kept working, it all just started falling into place. It developed very organically, I just kept drawing, painting and gluing and out of the blue it was done. I’m stoked on it and think it helped re-learn my process. Done on canvas with ink and collage. 11″x14″ Here it is…

This is a little collage/painting I did pretty recently. As soon as I got my new studio space set up I threw this together. I worked pretty fast, it was like a reflex just to throw down some paint and get some work done after a long wait of not doing much. Done on wood panel with ink, old comic book advertisements and acrylic. 9.5″x12.5″ Enjoy!

Hi everyone. I know it’s been a long time since I added anything. I’ve been getting this studio space set up and it took a little longer than expected, but it’s done and I love it! There’s plenty of space and things to play with. Here are some pictures of it. New art will be up soon! Check it out…

I did this painting for my lady’s sister. She successfully graduated from college. Good work, hope you like the bees. Done on paper mounted on a 12″x9″canvas with pen and ink, acrylic and paper.

Hello everyone. This is a new piece I’ve been working on. It was a lot of fun to do. It’s an attempt at humor. I hope you all like it and find it as entertaining as I did while I was painting it. Enjoy! Done on paper with ink, and acrylic mounted on three 12″x9″ canvases.

I did this piece for my friend Kristi, for her brother’s birthday. He loves Batman, as do I. Thanks Batman and the people who believe in him, you’re the best. Done on canvas with ink, acrylic and collage. 20″x20″

This is another piece that developed over a pretty long period of time. I did a lot of collage work with old paper paint pallets and scraps then just kept developing layers of color and more collage. Done on an old skate deck with ink, acrylic, paper.
Enjoy!

This painting developed over a long period of time. The layers kept building and it ended in this. I started sanding and peeling away some of the OSB, then pasting a couple of things on it. From there I just did layer after layer of ink/acrylic. Then some doodling, more layers and some fine tuning. I’m happy with the result. Technicolor beard face. Found wood, ink, acrylic. 14″x27″

This is a piece I just finished. It is a study over time of my frustrations involving my overall disposition as of late. Everything from my personal life to my thoughts on the current state of affairs in my immediate home life (California) my home land (Wisconsin) and across the globe. It was done on pieces from a broken down table and chair, with ink, graphite, acrylic and paper. approximately 18.5″x14″
ENJOY!

… in all honesty you gotta see it in person.
